Not a pivot.
A focus.
"I kept watching good businesses with real expertise get stuck with websites that didn't reflect any of it."
My background is in network engineering — but for the past decade I've been building and running websites on the side. Affiliate marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, DNS configuration, performance optimization. I've been doing this work long enough to know what actually matters and what doesn't.
Clearline Studio started when someone close to me launched a new business and needed a professional web presence, fast. I built it. Then a consulting firm reached out for advice. That's when I started seeing the pattern clearly: service businesses — the ones that compete on trust and credentials — are consistently underserved when it comes to their websites.
Large agencies are too slow and too expensive. Template builders produce sites that look like everyone else's. There's a gap in the middle, and that's exactly where Clearline lives.
"There's no reason a law firm, a security company, or a financial advisor should have to wait three months and pay $20,000 for a website. The tools exist to do it better, faster, and more affordably — if you know how to use them."
Clearline is built around a simple premise: your website should work as hard as you do. It should load fast, look credible, communicate clearly, and convert visitors into leads — without you having to chase an agency for updates or decipher a technical handoff document.
We use the best tools available — including AI — to move faster and deliver more than a traditional agency at a fraction of the cost. But every decision, every line of copy, every design call goes through a human who has been doing this for ten years. Speed without quality isn't a service. It's a shortcut.
